The Hochschild Group's Beginnings
German mining engineer Mauricio Hochschild arrived in Chile and founded a group of commercial companies in South America, which would later become known as the Hochschild Group. By 1926, the Group already had two operations in Peru—one in Arequipa and the other in Lima.
